By the end of today's session, please:
Negotiate with and identify the members of your nation to assign specific roles:
All 4 roles must be filled, even if you have fewer than 4 members, and all members must have at minimum one role.
Create a flag of your nation, using the color of the name on the original game map as the background or border color so we can easily identify territories on the map. You may not use an existing nation's flag, but you may browse for ideas and combine elements so long as your creation is unique and can be identified easily on the small scale we will use on the map.
Select or create an image of your future nations' capital. "Future Cities" is a reasonably safe search on Google Images, although that might just be a placeholder until you design a one-of-a-kind artwork of your own. The architecture of a capital city should inspire--no dystopias! (unless that is going to be a big part of your backstory)
Create a national creed or motto: One language used to express it must be English, although you may experiment with Latin, Native American languages, or other languages: Example: e pluribus unum (out of many, one).
Identify the name of your nations's currency (money): Designing it will be a future task for the Business/Trade Executive
Identify a National Symbolic or Native Animal: I think that about covers it.
Forecast: 2222 session--build a webpage using your Leader's or Business/Trade Executive's Google account (whoever has more Google Webpage and design skills) with the map, your nation's flag, motto, currency, animal, and identifying your nation's members by last name and title only (no first and last names and photos together). Open negotiations with neighboring countries, make a one year (game time) plan for using national resources.
